General Questions
The Nexus Darknet is a privacy-focused online marketplace operating exclusively on the Tor network (.onion). It connects buyers and vendors in a peer-to-peer environment protected by cryptocurrency escrow, PGP-encrypted messaging, and multi-factor authentication. This website is an independent informational resource and is not affiliated with the marketplace.
Based on public reporting and forum activity, Nexus Marketplace is reported to have launched in 2024. It grew rapidly, accumulating tens of thousands of listings and thousands of verified vendors within its first operational year.

Access & Nexus URLs
Verified Nexus URLs are listed on our entry page. We cross-reference all addresses against PGP-signed announcements from the official Nexus team. Always verify independently. Nexus addresses are Tor v3 .onion URLs — 56 characters long, ending in .onion. Never trust URLs from random social media posts or unsecured forum replies.
No. The Nexus Link is a .onion address, which is only resolvable on the Tor network. You must use the official Tor Browser from torproject.org. Some users route Tor through a VPN for additional protection, but Tor Browser itself is the absolute minimum requirement.
Verify the Nexus URL using the official Nexus Marketplace PGP key.
The Nexus team signs all official URL announcements. Import their public key,
then use gpg --verify on the signed announcement to confirm authenticity.
Our entry page lists the fingerprint and detailed verification steps.
Cryptocurrency Questions
Nexus Marketplace accepts Monero (XMR), Bitcoin (BTC), and Litecoin (LTC). Monero is strongly recommended due to its built-in privacy features (ring signatures, stealth addresses, RingCT). For full details, see our cryptocurrency guide.
Bitcoin transactions are permanently recorded on a public blockchain, allowing chain analysis firms to trace transaction history. Monero obscures sender, receiver, and amount using cryptographic privacy primitives. This makes XMR significantly harder to trace, which is why it has become the privacy coin of choice on Nexus Darknet and similar platforms.
Security & OPSEC
OPSEC (Operational Security) refers to the practices that protect your identity and activities from being exposed. For Nexus Darknet users this includes: using Tor Browser only, never reusing usernames across platforms, using XMR, enabling 2-FA, PGP-encrypting all messages, not sharing identifying information, and using dedicated devices. Full details in our OPSEC guide.
PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) is an encryption standard that ensures only the intended recipient can read your messages. On Nexus Marketplace, PGP is used to encrypt shipping addresses and other sensitive communications. While not always mandatory for buyers, it is strongly recommended. Vendors are required to have PGP keys. See our OPSEC guide for setup instructions.
Market Features
Standard escrow holds your payment until you confirm receipt. Finalize Early (FE) releases funds to the vendor immediately. FE is available only to established Nexus Marketplace vendors with a strong track record. Never FE with new or unproven vendors. Always use standard escrow when in doubt.
Navigate to your order in the Nexus Marketplace order management interface and select "Open Dispute" before the finalization window closes. Provide evidence (photos, tracking info, messages) to support your case. A Nexus moderator will review and adjudicate. See the dispute section for full details.
